The Society of Saint Vincent de Paul is a non-profit, charitable, international Catholic lay organization dedicated to serving those in need through person to person contact, through our many programs, and through the work of dedicated volunteers called Vincentians. Our Lady of Guadalupe Conference is one of 12 SSVP island conferences and a ministry of St. Patrick's Parish. We provide direct assistance to individuals and families in Campbell River struggling with poverty, housing instability or crisis.

We provide food hampers locally through our Emergency Food Hamper Delivery Program, stocked from our storeroom at St. Patrick's Parish with both perishable and non-perishable food items.
We provide Welcome Kits to women and their children transitioning into shelter, and to individuals moving into stable housing.
Beyond food, the conference can help connect individuals with social services, emergency housing resources, and other community programs.
You can support the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, Our Lady of Guadalupe Conference, with your time, your talent, financial donations through our blue collection envelopes and our monthly Silent Begging fundraiser, food donations through our food drives, and household donations dropped off at the parish office. All contributions go directly to helping our neighbours in need.
Membership is open to all who desire to join others in helping those in need, for the love of God. Consider giving of your time by becoming a member of our conference and of our Vincentian family. Meetings are held in the large hall after the 11 a.m. Mass, on the second or third Sunday of the month, 8 times a year. To learn more, reach out to Sheila or Jean below.
