The old testament prophet Ezekiel reminds the Lord’s people of rain’s infinite source. Almighty God brings down the showers of blessings. Not drops, but a downpour of good things. The result of our faith in action are the many blessings God showers upon us, and to those we serve. Here are some of the many blessings that rained upon our conference, over spring and summer
Gifts that Keep on Giving

Wagging Tails and High Paws
Over one hundred dogs and cats residing in low income homes, in remote regions of Vancouver Island received pet food from Saint Vincent de Paul. Thank you to the many Island branches of the BC SPCA for your generous monthly donations.
Smile Everyone
A financial donation from Discovery Passage Dental and a donation of toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss from Dogwood Dental and Island Roots Dental will be a welcome addition to our emergency food hampers
Bed, Bath & Beyond Belief
Naturally Pacific Resort’s donation of 35 boxes of bedding, towels, face cloths and more will keep our storeroom well stocked and our Welcome Kits well supplied with these items
People Helping People
The motto of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Ladies Auxiliary rings loud and clear, for organizations in Campbell River who receive their support. We were recently blessed with a financial donation, which will help support the work of our local programs.
Poverty Knows No Limit, Has No Boundary
Food, transportation and housing security continue to be among the biggest challenges facing many residents living in remote regions on the North Island and West Coast. Recent trips to Tahsis, Zeballos, Ehattesaht and Oclucje revealed the continued great need for Saint Vincent’s food assistance. Our presence reassured these communities that we are there, and we care. A spring trip in 2027 is planned for Kyuquot, our most remote and isolated community receiving food assistance from SSVP
