Confirmation completes the sacraments of initiation and strengthens the grace received at Baptism. Through the laying on of hands and anointing with chrism oil, the candidate receives the fullness of the Holy Spirit and is commissioned to live and share the faith as an adult member of the Church.
Our Confirmation preparation is a two-year journey of deeper faith, service, and discernment. Candidates explore Church teaching, the gifts of the Spirit, and what it means to live as a mature disciple. Service projects and a retreat are included.
Register with Faith Formation
Contact the office in September to enroll in the preparation program.
Complete the two-year program
Regular sessions, a retreat, and service hours are required.
Celebrate Confirmation
Conferred by the Bishop, typically in spring.
