Schedule changes
Masses cancelled this week: there is no Mass on Monday, October 26, Tuesday, October 27 or Thursday, October 29. On Wednesday, October 28 the Mass and Adoration are cancelled, and on Friday, October 30 the Mass and Holy Hour are cancelled. An additional Mass is on Monday, November 2 at 9:30 AM.

- •Additional Mass: there will be a Mass on Monday, November 2 at 9:30 AM.
- •2026 Annual Bishop's Appeal, "Be the Light": this is Commitment Weekend. Your gift supports pastoral care, the Sacraments, and outreach in remote and challenging northern communities, helping keep their doors open this winter. Learn more at rcdvictoria.org/bishops-appeal. Our parish goal is $49,000. Actual to date: $3,680.00.
- •Prayers for the homeless: Deacon John invites parishioners to join him for Taizé prayers for the Campbell River homeless community on Tuesday, November 3 at 2:30 PM in Room 222 at St. Patrick's Church.
- •Pope Leo's Encyclical, Magnifica Humanitas (Magnificent Humanity): a series of Adult Education discussion sessions will be held in Room 222 for six weeks starting Thursday, November 5, at 10:30 AM or 7 PM. Parishioners are invited to take part. The sign-up sheet is in the church foyer.
- •Christmas Flower Collection after the Masses on November 7 and 8. The Flower Ministry is also looking for help with flower arranging. Anyone interested, please contact the parish office.
- •Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child: shoeboxes for filling are available in the church foyer. Please return filled boxes to the office or the foyer by November 16.
- •Christmas Hamper Fund: the Knights of Columbus still need help in their Hamper office. If you can spare 3 1/2 hours a week from November 4 to December 16, please contact Hadley at hadleyohlinger@yahoo.ca.
- •Knights of Columbus 65th Annual Charity Appeal, Council 5468: a charity appeal for their Charity Foundation, "Working together to make our community better." Ticket sales run from October 1 to December 19, 2026. Inquiries: 604-216-7272.
- •St. Vincent de Paul: silent begging contributions, blue envelope collections, food donations and prayers help provide emergency food assistance to Campbell River homes facing economic and physical hardship. Thank you for your continued support and God bless you.
- •The 2027 CWL membership drive continues. Dues are $75.00. The CWL General Meeting is November 17 at 1:30 PM in the small hall. A Purdy's Fundraiser is also underway; visit fundraising.purdys.com.
- •Pilgrimage to Italy, April 29 to May 10, 2027 (12 days, $6,390.00), under the spiritual leadership of Fr. Joseph Yuson with the assistance of Fr. Dean N. Henderson. Visit Venice, Siena, Assisi, San Giovanni Rotondo, Monte Sant'Angelo, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Basilica and the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, and attend the Angelus with the Holy Father. - •A message from our Kitchen Mouse: if you use the church kitchen, please make sure the door is locked when you are done.
- •Bottle recycling continues Saturdays 10 AM to noon. The October 17 collection raised $370.60. Thank you!
